The 2010 Victorian Days Celebration Print E-mail

On April 24, 2010 Waterville will be hosting the 20th annual Victorian Day. This day-long event features an Elegant English Tea served by ladies in Victorian attire. Also for your enjoyment at this event there will be two shows on the stage of the historical Waterville Opera House, A nostalgic by local school children at our Game Fork one room school house in the park, and displays along Commercial Street. One of our most elegant "Painted Ladies”, the Samuel Powell House will be open for tours.

The Marshall County Historical Railroad will offer rides on the Central Branch Railroad by motorcars. The Railroad Depot and Red Caboose Museums will be open. The local Lions and Leos clubs will serve a Buffalo Burger Dinner and Ice Cream Sundaes at the Waterville Community Center. There will be shopping opportunities at the local gift shops and the local restaurant will offer a full menu. For groups of 20 or more we are offering a Discount Package that includes, Lunch Coupon, Customized Itinerary, and Tour Guide.
